Public Comment - Citizens are allowed to voice County-related opinions, concerns, requests, etc. during the Public Comment portion of the Commission meeting. At the Regular Meeting, speakers will be heard prior to the zoning portion of the agenda; at the Recess Meeting, prior to the County Manager’s Unfinished Business. Before speaking, each participant must fill out a speaker card, located at the entry way, the podium, and the media and court reporter tables. Speaker cards must be submitted to the Clerk’s staff, who will accept them on a first-come, first-served basis.  Once Public Comment begins, speaker cards will no longer be accepted. Speakers will be granted up to two minutes each. Members of the public will not be allowed to yield or donate time to other speakers. The Public Comment portion of the meeting will not exceed 30 minutes at the Regular Meeting, nor will this portion exceed thirty minutes at the Recess Meeting.  Those who could not speak during Public Comment will be allowed to speak first at a subsequent Board meeting. Superior Court Administration

 

The Courts of Fulton County, along with consultants from the National Center for State Courts (NCSC), seek to present findings from the 2017 Courts Class and Compensation Study, and the new compensation plan for judicial branch employees.  This Courts’ Compensation Plan, authorized by 2013 Ga. L. pp. 882-884, 1036, 4392-4395, 4505-4506, will be a compliment to the Archer Plan, and will successfully shift the Courts from the DBM structure to the same pay and grade model used countywide.

Request approval of the lowest responsible bidder - Department of Real Estate and Asset Management, Bid #18ITB021318K-EC, Air Handling Unit Replacements at Justice Center Complex in the amount of $463,857.00 with 5 Seasons Mechanical, LLC. (Peachtree Corners, GA), to provide all materials, labor, tools, equipment and appurtenances necessary for the replacement of six (6) air handling units (AHU) in the Fulton County Justice Center Complex (JCC).  The schedule for the work is effective for 181 calendar days upon issuance of the Notice to Proceed. FULTON COUNTY BOARD OF TAX ASSESSORS

 

The Fulton County Board of Tax Assessors shall be a five-member board, whose members shall be appointed by the full Board of Commissioners of Fulton County upon nomination by any member of the board of commissioners. Of the five members, at least one shall be a resident of the City of Atlanta, at least one shall be a resident of that portion of Fulton County that lies north of the municipal limits of the City of Atlanta, and at least one shall be a resident of that portion of Fulton County that lies south of the municipal limits of the City of Atlanta.

 

Term = 4 years.
